Delete Your Account
Applies to the NOTA app (iOS & Android)
You can permanently delete your NOTA account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no recovery period.
Delete from within the app
- Open NOTA and go to Settings
- Tap Data
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
Tip: if you want to keep a copy of your data, export it first as CSV from Settings → Data & Export. Once the account is deleted, nothing can be restored.
Delete by email (no app access)
If you no longer have access to the app, email us at support@hellonota.com with the subject "Delete my NOTA account". The request must be sent from the email address registered to your account so we can verify it is you. Requests are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account immediately and permanently erases all data associated with it:
- Your profile and account credentials
- Tasks and calendar events
- Habits and habit history
- Financial transactions, bank connections and linked-account tokens
- Notes and journal entries
- Push notification tokens and app settings
What is handled separately
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by NOTA. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your device's subscription settings.
